I don't blame them.  You never know where you are with those things!  I was surprised at the Husky - ours always wanted to eat every cat he saw!

Introduction
Because they are so familiar to us, it's easy to forget how magical dogs are. They bridge the human and animal world. They are, in the words of Alexandra Horowitz, "… The animal we think we know best but may actually understand the least."  

We're privileged to have these creatures in our lives, and when we're smart about it, we celebrate it. In pictures, on film, in books and songs. Dogs always have something to tell us; sometimes we listen - and get it right.
