The Final Commission
And then he told them, “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone. Anyone who believes and is baptized will be saved. But anyone who refuses to believe will be condemned." Mark 16:15-16 NLT

Today's Prayer
Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for the sacrifice. For the pain you have to endure for our sake. I thank you for the salvation you have brought upon us. By your name, Jesus. Lives be saved, eyes be opened, blind can see. As we stand by your feet, to wash us in baptism with your blood. I praise you and give you all the honour.
Thank you Jesus, the name of all names. Amen.

Lens Blur vs uFocus
Can you tell the difference between the two?
Can you tell which photo is taken using which camera?

One is taken using Nexus 7 using +Google's Camera app with Lense Blur. The other using +HTC One M8 with uFocus.

Both cameras were at the same when the photos were taken.

Then at three o’clock Jesus called out with a loud voice, “Eloi, Eloi, lema sabachthani?” which means “My God, my God, why have you abandoned me?” Mark 15:34 NLT

He was accused, mocked, beaten and crucified for our transgressions.
Upon Him our sins were taken.
It was nailed into Him so that an will be put to death.
So that we may have eternal life and one with the Father.
With His blood, the blood of ultimate sacrificial lamb.
Was poured out so our sins can be washed away.
And the veil torn from top to bottom.
So that we may see His amazing grace.
The ultimate victory came by the empty cross.
And an open tomb.
The power of death.... overcome.

We had dinner at this quaint sandstone building at Hunters Hill for my wife's birthday. It had a great homely atmosphere, clean, airy and tastefully decorated. The restaurant is kid friendly too. The food was at authentic at your can get in this part of the world and surprisingly very reasonably priced. The ingredients are freshly sourced and it definitely shows on the quality of the dishes. Even the ice cream are hand made in the premises. Serving size is appropriate and well presented. The restaurateur and the staff are very welcoming and very friendly; typical of Thai hospitality. Speak to Areeya, and she will look after you. Thank you so much for looking after us.

This is an enjoyable place to visit with kids. It is also cheap and affordable. Kids under 3 years of age ride free with a paying adult and entry is free. Would definitely come back here again. My daughter got to ride with Thomas, James, Percy and Toby.

After reading all the reviews in TripAdvisor so we thought we should visit this restaurant for dinner to see if the reviews were true. From our experience it was partially true. Let me break this down for you. 1. The Atmosphere: the restaurant gave the feeling that you are dining in an intimate, upmarket restaurant. It is lowly lit so reading the menu will be a bit of a challenge so get here early to read the menu when there is daylight if you have reading problems. The the muted TV which reflects off the window is really distracting when you are trying to enjoy the view outside. For a small spaced restaurant, the tables are well spaced that you can walk around the restaurant easily. 2. The Food: although the food sits towards the expensive side of the scale of pricing, I thought the taste and serving size was value for money. I think I have enjoyed the food here more than anywhere else we have dined in Port Vila. Overall, expensive but it is worth it. The restaurant caters for children and provides a kids menu. The kids meal also receives a very decent serving. Each kids menu order gets a free drink. 3. The Service: This is where Chill lost 2 stars in this rating. One star each for a menu item ordered that didn't make it through the kitchen and bar. My wife didn't receive her drink order and we had to ask for it again. While I didn't get my chocolate souffle which I had to wait 20 minutes for! My wife and I ordered the same desert but with different liqueurs in it. However only 1 souffle order made it to the kitchen with 2 liqueurs. I didn't want to wait for another 20 minutes for my souffle while my 3 year old daughter fussing ready to go to sleep. A beautiful night's dining ended up so tragically as I was looking forward to eating that souffle. The restaurant manager didn't even offer a discount off the total from our bill. This truly disappointed me. My tip for anyone who decides to dine in this restaurant is to get them to repeat and re-repeat your order to ensure your receive what your really want.

Lovely little club, kid and family friendly. The people that come and people that work here are nice and friendly bunch of people. The bistro food is nice, tasty and cheap. I recommend coming here on Thursdays for their Thursday curry specials.

My wife, daughter and I just got back home from staying at this resort. I have to say that I didn't expect a Holiday Inn brand to be what I expected, in fact I expected much better. I used to have the perception that HI brands are cheap and low budget hotels. The resort offers an ample amount of free activities to choose from and it caters well for children. The lagoon is clean and nice to swim at, it is also teeming with fish life. The resort however offers limited dining choice as it only has one restaurant so it is best to spend about AU$6 for a taxi and head into town to dine. The service received is great and the staff are always willing to help; even the managerial staff are out helping out front of house during busy periods. Even noticed Thomas Tat (The General Manager) help out at the Verandah Restaurant during the breakfast rush. We specially love the team at the Totel Kids Club, they were great at looking after our daughter. Special mention to Mariam and Selena who our daughter gotten to like and attached to at the Kids Club. Honourable mention to Kimberley Hassell for looking after our needs and organising the Romantic Dinner for our 10th year anniversary. The boys at the Activities Team are a bunch of awesome and fun blokes. I had one of them offered to take me back to our villa with the boat after swimming from our villa to the activities area. During our visit at Vanuatu we accommodated one of the family beach front villas (403). This villa was a perfect home away from home for us. Our 2.5 years old daughter loves hanging out at the verandah looking out to the water and checking out the starfish and other fish life. The villa is very comfortable and very peaceful. The birds always make sure you are up and ready for a day ahead as you will hear them chirp away early in the morning (5AM on the dot to be exact). The villa has a nice and clean mini-beach that you could swim and for kids to play. The island where the villas are situated also has its own little private beach with hammock and deck chairs. It's a nice little spot away from everyone else, truly was my favourite spot in the property . We had free WiFi internet access with our stay in the villa however it was slow and unusable at times. The villa was adequately maintained, the only issue we had was that the blinds were not screwed into the wall properly so we had to be careful opening and closing it. The wooden sliding door occasionally comes off the railings and sometimes can be a little hard to open. There was no door handle on the fly screen which made it hard to close and open. The room wasn't I expected it to be, the room is actually quite smaller and shorter than what is advertised in the Hi website and other HI publications. I would suggest HI change this picture on their publications as soon as possible as this is false advertising. The villa could do some improvement such as utilising the ceiling void by transforming the space into a mezzanine bedroom for kids. We found that the lounge area that doubles as our daughter's sleeping area very inconvenient, it was hard for us to utilise the space once our daughter was asleep. As it was mainly dry during our stay here, I would also recommend that HI invest a mini water tanker to wet the path once or twice daily as the path to the villa gets fairly dusty and dry. The Pool Bar and in room dining menus offer very limited choices and extremely pricy. I had the BBQ Meat Lovers pizza and it contained a lot more corn and other vegetables than meat that it should have been named "Vegetable Lovers Pizza!!" Overall, we enjoyed our stay in Holiday Inn Resort and it was a memorable one. Thank you to all the staff who made our stay a memorable and a comfortable one. Thank you tomas!

Everyone in the Big Blue team is highly commendable. If you need to get your diving addiction fixed in Vanuatu then look no further than these guys. Experience really shows in their staff. Speak to Mike (who is the founder of the company) and he will truly look after you. Special mention to Jordan who was our dive master on our first two dives. She was very helpful, informative and easy going. She made sure my wife was OK at all times on both our dives. Special thank you to Luaky (Lu) who took us on our 3rd and 4th dive. He is one awesome dive master who likes to play around and knows how to have fun underwater. If you havent dived for a while and needs reassuring, ask for either Jordan and Luaky, they will look after you. But overall, everyone at Big Blue are very friendly. Honourable mention to MJ (the mohawk dude), he is one funny bugger! hehe One thing I would like to recommend to add to "The Lady" is a compact coffee machine. :) I'd love a cappuccino after my dives. :)
