Freeing Quickoffice for everyone

Starting today we’re making Quickoffice for Android and iOS available for free, for everyone. With Quickoffice, you can edit Microsoft® Office documents across your devices, giving you the freedom to work with anyone no matter what hardware or software they’re using.  Plus, it’s integrated with Google Drive storage so you can safely access your files from anywhere.  While we’re on the topic of free stuff, if you sign in to your Google Account from the new Quickoffice app for Android or iOS by September 26, 2013, you'll get an extra 10GB of Google Drive storage for two years, which will be added to your account in the next few weeks.

When +Guy Kawasaki posted "Wouldn't it be great if you could personalize your phone like this?" (referring to a Porsche commercial) I truly thought (and most people did too) that you would be able to pick and choose internal hardware components.  Here is a great proof of concept of what I hope one day we can really do.  Remember, this is a proof of concept so it looks bulky, but I'm sure with the right engineering this could actually become a reality with a slimmer profile.

Doctors injected a young girl who had cancer with the HIV in order to try to fight her leukemia. The HIV was reprogrammed in order to fight her cancer cells. Emma was given the treatment and in a short time became deathly ill as her body reacted to the newly introduced disease… and then a remarkable thing happened.

Simply awesome resources, especially for front end web app developer, imho.

Sememangnya satu lag sumber yang amat manafaat, terutamanya kepada pengaturcara antara-muka depan aplikasi sesawang... Betul ke terjemahan ni?

Great talks about cool development tools using Chrome DevTools. I have been using this almost exclusively for a few weeks already.
Wait, Chrome DevTools can do THAT?

Ready to polish up your Chrome DevTools knowledge? I gave a talk at JQueryUK a few months back, covering a lot of the new and awesome tips, tricks, and features! Slides @

And yes, surprise, many of them are related to web performance... :)

Assalamualaikum, dan salam sejahtera,

Soon, I will have an opportunity to meet my previous teachers and lecturers from my previous university. One of them asked me if there is anything I wish I could have learnt or experienced while undergoing study courses.

Knowing how the real world and the industry we are in right now, what we think that the computer science faculty should teach to the students?

I am sure that most of us will agree that whatever we learnt during university era contribute to very small percentage, directly, to what we do day?

So, what could be better for young undergraduates in IT / computer science?
