On Saturday, July 9, SEEDS hosted its annual Parent Day at The Hill School. Parents and family members traveled to Pottstown, Pennsylvania to visit Scholars completing the three-week Summer Challenge Program. The rain didn’t deter guests from visiting with students, listening to a presentation from summer staff, meeting their children’s teachers and participating in games and other activities. It was a terrific day!

The SEEDS Scholars in Capstone are more than halfway through the three-week residency at The Hill School! Students have been working hard preparing to head off to their selective schools this far and learning about future potential careers. Today, SEEDS' Executive Director, John Castano, spoke to Scholars about nonprofits and the importance of alumni giving.

Calling SEEDS graduates! If you are currently in college (or recently graduated high school), we need your help. As SEEDS thinks about new and updated programming for the Guidance department, we are looking for volunteers to provide feedback on their SEEDS experiences.

SEEDS invites you to join us for a small gathering (and pizza!) to talk about how we can better prepare our current scholars for their high school experiences. If you are interested, please email Johulin Zuluaga (jzuluaga@njseeds.org) as soon as possible.
