Thanks to Ben in finance and the finance manager whose name I can't think of at the moment. Also Josh in sales and Herman who got me started. They got me a great interest rate, they helped me find exactly what I was looking for which was kind of specific, and offered to help my mom map out charging stations when she borrowed by EV. Great team!

Went in for an oil change, key programming and navigation update. All of which this dealership should have been capable of doing. I left after paying $178 to them, and $149 for a map update and receiving only the oil change. I was told they couldn't program my new key which is somewhat understandable since it was an aftermarket key and the quality is questionable, but they still "had to" charge me $108 for the service which is absolutely ridiculous. I was also told I had buy the map/nav update online and give them the code and they could do the update. I bought the code online while at the dealership and gave it to them to run the update while they did everything else, only to find out that "my car doesn't even know it has navigation and they can't run the update"... What does that even mean??? They graciously didn't charge me the $108 service fee for doing essentially nothing with that. After waiting 3 and a half hours and essentially paying $327 for an oil change (which I should have just done myself after all) I won't ever go back here.

This is been a great place for a while for me.. yet like any other dealer when they have a chance to drain you off money, they will all the way. . Here is my story. I bought a '13 Pathfinder out of state and i had it delivered to me. Clean title. I always had it serviced at this NOP location. 2 years down the road the dealer service department found out that the car was in a collision before and took advantage of me. I brought the car to NOP for a oil change service and they told me that there was a recall that had to be done also. After the full (about 2.5 hrs) service i drove home and 2 minutes after leaving the dealer air bag light came on in the car. I called the service department to tell them, and they told me because the car was in a previous collision there must be a wiring harness problem or other glitch in the system. . (2 years was fine. . Right after the dealer service i had problems o_O. Really? ). Anyways, they told me that i can bring the car in for service but this will not be covered under warranty because of the previous collision. The estimate from the dealer was to diagnose 2-3hrs @ $100 per hr than to tell me what the problem was. . So, i searched for an alternative. I have a pro that works on all electrical problems on cars, (computers, seat belts, check engine lights,) (genius guy) i took the car to him for diagnostic and repair. . The guy spent 4.5 hrs trying to check all harness and trying find out what was the problem and the only thing he was able to find wrong with the car was the main computer was re-programed with a corrupt program and it was reading the air bags at fault. (Huh, i wander how that happened). 2 years there was not a single problem and when they found out that the car was in previous collision they had to reprogram the main computer so they can charge me later $$$$ big money for service. Buy the way, the guy that fixed my car's air bag problem charged me $175 for full repair on the car 4.5hrs. Thanks to the NOP. They would have charged me only $200-$300 only for diagnostics on something they messed up and took advantage of me. . BE AWARE OF THESE KIND OF SERVICE YOU'LL SPEND 1000s of $$$$. One (*) is tooooo much to review. But i hope no one will get burned like i did. STAY AWAY FROM N.O.P SERVICE

Sergey- We are terribly sorry over your frustrations! I have reached out to all parties involved here at Nissan of Portland and according to our records- you came in October 2014 where we did an OCS (passenger airbag) reprogram. In March 2015 we performed a recall for the CVT (transmission) and again in June 2015 where- to our knowledge- there was no airbag issue. As your vehicle had been in an accident prior to your purchase- we explained your vehicle may not be covered under normal factory warranty. It was Nissan of Portland's act of good will to perform a diagnosis at no cost to you. Servicing your vehicle with a Nissan Dealership will almost always be more expensive than a 3rd party technician as we use genuine OEM parts and most all our technicians are Nissan Master Certified. Please be advised that your business is important to us. Nissan of Portland prides itself on delivering top notch customer service and strives to reach this level with every customer. I just purchased a 370Z from Nissan of Portland. I worked with Carlos. He went out of his way to make sure I got a good deal. I got a great price for the 370Z and for my trade in with very little negotiation. This is my third purchase from Nissan of Portland I will definitely be back for a fourth in a few years.

The service department at Nissan of Portland cares for you like family. I've taken my 10-year-old Sentra to them for everything from basic oil changes to more extensive repairs. Each time I've found them to be nothing less than honest, thorough, and committed. I fully trust that they always have my best interests in mind. They stayed with me during a 10-month process of sourcing a hard-to-find engine computer, never giving up until that engine light went off. Emily, Courtney, and Bob will have your back through your entire experience, pulling in their wonderful team of technicians (shout-out to Anthony!) and parts guys (Mike!) to get the job done to the best of their ability.
