Anyone in New Orleans? I have the option to go to NOLA after my Carnegie-Mellon trip. I'd rather have adult time with friends and/or hang out in/near the hotel (which according to Priceline is 4 stars and in the French Quarter) than usher around 4 high school students, which is what Theo will be doing. Would anyone here want to visit with this childfree adult?

Right now it looks like I'll be going back to C-U instead.

Embroidermodder 2 Open Source embroidery software project launches on kickstarter! A few rewards include my designs. The world definitely needs something like this - bad proprietary software has held back sewing technology about 20 years.

We used to do multi-language gibberish exercises in theater improv. Speaking your own language in gibberish is the hardest - we couldn't perceive what made American accents American (hint: lots of R's). This lady is fantastic.

Girl speaks gibberish with many accents. Sort of interesting to hear English voiced without meaning.

I was taught the classic logical fallacies in Junior year of high school, History of Civilization class. The two that stuck with me were "Post Hoc Ergo Propter Hoc" (Just because A follows B doesn't mean B caused A) and "Ad Hominem" (attacking the man). Thank you Mr. Amos for providing a foundation for critical thinking.
