Here’s a high-flying shot of the 2017 slam dunk champion Glenn Robinson III, photographed by Nikon Ambassador +Andrew Hancock for #NikonBTS. Andrew captured this with a Nikon D4s working as a remote camera and triggered via the WR-1 remote on top of a handheld D4s. For tips on capturing fast indoor sports in challenging light, check out our behind the scenes video: https://youtu.be/43yVrUFk5PY

Deborah's goal for this picture was to create something more than the scene offered. "I wanted to convey the wind turbines in motion so people could get closer to experiencing what was happening. The turbines have three blades—a single shot would freeze their movement and lose the energy of their rhythmic rotation. A long exposure would blur the blades into oblivion; they wouldn't have any definition. So I thought, Okay, let's see what happens when I do a multiple-exposure sequence." Photographer Tom Bol shot this in the town of Wiseman with the Nikon D810, AF-S NIKKOR 14-24mm f/2.8G ED, at 5 seconds, f/2.8, ISO 1250, manual exposure mode. He says, "It was our last and best night of the workshop. At three in the morning the Aurora really got going with an impressive display that wouldn't quit."
