A new version of the Dumbbell Nebula (M27) made with the data acquired last year with my good old Meade 2080 Schmidt-Cassegrain that I I have been owning for 24 years now.

Meade 8" Schmidt-Cassegrain
Meade F6.3 reducer
Moravian G2-8300 CCD + Astrodon Ha / OIII 5nm filters
Guiding camera : QHY5LII-C
Guiding scope : William Optics ZenithStar 66
AZEQ6 mount
Acquisition with Sequence Generator Pro
Guiding with PHD2
Polar Alignment : QHY PoleMaster
Data :
Ha = 17 x 10mn = 2h50mn
OIII = 21 x 10mn = 3h30mn

The Bubble Nebula Region.

In this Narrowband image you can see the Bubble Nebula (NGC 7635, center), the stars clusters M52 (NGC7564) & NGC7510, and the nebulae NGC7538, Sh2-151 and Sh2-157.

This is a combination of a Bi-color Ha/Oiii and a SHO image.

10h20mn of exposure with a ZenithStar66 refractor, a Moravian CCD cameras G2-8300, and Astrodon Filters (Ha 5nm, OIII 5nm, SII 5nm) .

IC1396 and the Elephant's Trunk Nebula.

It is a concentration of interstellar gas and dust located in the constellation Cepheus about 2,400 light years away from Earth.

This is a bicolor Ha/OIII image. I'm working on a new technique to combine channels with Pixelmath in order to create an "SHO feeling" on bicolor images. Let me know what you think of it !

5h50mn of exposure with a ZenithStar66 refractor, a Moravian G2-8300, and Astrodon Filters (Ha 5nm, OIII 5nm) .

It's been a while since I've made a picture, having been busy these lasts months, but here I am back again and very happy to post this one.

This is a bicolor Ha/OIII image made last week.
9 hours of data (Ha = 13 x 15mn / OIII = 23x15mn) with a William Optics ZenithStar 66 refractor, a Moravian CCD cameras G2-8300 and Astrodon Ha & OIII 5nm filters.

The Crescent Nebula is an emission nebula in the constellation Cygnus, about 5000 light-years away from Earth discovered in 1792 formed by the fast stellar wind from the Wolf-Rayet star.

You can also see the Soap Bubble Nebula, a planetary nebula discovered by amateur astronomer Dave Jurasevich in June 19, 2007. : http://i.imgur.com/8sErFwh.jpg

Full resolution : http://i.imgur.com/gGCddDo.jpg

Total exposure 9h :
* Ha : 13 x 900s
* OIII : 23 x 900s

* William Optics Zenithstar 66 refractor with a WO Flatenner 6 .
* Moravian G2-8300
* Guiding scope : Skywatcher 9x50 finderscope with a QHY5L-IIc
* Mount : Skywatcher AZ-EQ6GT

Thanks for watching, Clear Skies !

A draft version of my Orion's mosaic.
Many thanks to Kevin Priebe for giving me the RGB data to colorize my Ha channel.
The field I'm planning to achieve is wider than that, and I still hope to make my own RGB in order to cover the entire field.
