"Facebook, Twitter & Co - Erfolgreiches Social Media Marketing"
I consult on implementing and running social media professionally. Strategy is fine, but at some point you need to get on the ground running and answer questions like "And how do I do this now?" "where do I start?" "what do I need?". Think systems, workflows, procedures. With me you get somebody who is able to take your chaos and turn it into something workable.
Having worked in the enterprise for 15 years in global IT and controlling plus equal amount of time working with SMB and startups on why they belong on the internet and now social media, I am well versed in old school as much as 'the new stuff' but also the thinking and problems of big corporations as much as single entrepreneurs.
While I work from Germany, I do travel and like to boost my frequent flyer account. :)
I am based in Berlin, Germany.

Giant Ideum touchscreen table will play games, apps and control smart devices: "You will definitely need a coaster for this coffee table - as well as a sizeable front room. Ideum has built a giant 46-inch Android touchscreen table that can recognise up to 60 simultaneous touches. The device, which also comes in a 32-inch version, is set to go on sale later this year and prices start at $6,950 (£4,175)."
Competition to Google Plus and Facebook for business oriented postings?
»“One of our big, strategic bets for the company is for LinkedIn to become the definitive, professional publishing platform,” says Ryan Roslansky, Head of Content Products at LinkedIn. “We do this because we want LinkedIn to be the place where members can become productive, successful professionals – not just when you’re trying to find a job, or search for another person.”«
I love how we can see more and more of these interesting solutions to major problems and how the advancement of tech allows scientist to tackle bigger but also previously not doable research!
Imagine you’re on the edge of the Sahara Desert, trying to research the problem of desertification--the spread of new deserts onto farmland and into communities. You need data, but you’re facing thousands of miles of sand and rocks and temperatures that regularly reach 120 degrees Fahrenheit. Here’s one solution for gathering information: A tumbleweed-shaped robot that can travel for years using only wind power.

How to ensure even deeper system lock in and continuous accessory buying:
"Apple has been granted a patent by the USPTO today (via AppleInsider) that could fit in with its apparent plans to get into health and fitness tracking in a big way: the document describes a headphone system that builds in sensors to detect heart rate, temperature, perspiration and other info to track a user’s movements and activity levels."

Some pointers towards how cooking probably made us more human.
If conversation gets a little dry around your holiday table, now you'll have some awesome science to share with everyone!

I enjoyed the presentation of science fiction to facts (and it makes me want to pull out books and films), but was missing the aspect of inspiration: Maybe they are right so often because they inspired people to make it happen. Given that we can invent anything we set our mind to, maybe inventing something which somebody else already has thought out and showed us is easier, both to develop and get funding?
Anybody I know watching certain movies says "I want that. When can I get that??!!" - and if people would set up kickstarter and alike to even get closer to that idea, we would do it - thus making it more likely that this specific vision comes alive.
Minority report and the way Tom Cruise can go through his information? It is over a decade old and I have wanted that ever since. Well basically since Star Trek. Watching Oculus Rift and alike getting developed, I do not see a gaming platform item - I see one step closer to that information thing I want. So I would support some gaming device - because books and films have shown me what I want and how it makes me feel to want this.

This should be fascinating if we could analyze that data outside of just the team and I am sure many trainers and athletes world wide would love to learn form it:
"By better understanding a player's cardiovascular and musculoskeletal status during games, the technology promises to quantify exertion in a number of categories including: acceleration and deceleration, jumping, distance, and direction run"
