Battle of the midrange smartphones! Spoiler...Zenfone 2 all the way! :D

A new handset aims to claim the throne as king of affordable smartphones, possibly jumping over one of its predecessors. As we have seen in the tech world, heirs to the crown are chosen by what they bring to the table, not by which came first. It's time to see which device will take your cas

As much as I wasn't a fan of the Galaxy S5, I have to admit that I wish the trend of waterproof phones had carried on.  If Sony is scaling back it looks like no one else is really supporting this NECESSARY feature!

I love that my Xperia Z3 is waterproof. Definitely wish more phones added that feature.

Just when I thought the LG might have come out with a killer camera...I read this. Although the testing that I did between the G4 v G3 v G2 left me wanting more out of the G4...

+DWIGHT_ ITECHUOUTGUY I personal like the Asus Zenfone 2. 4GB Ram intel Atom 64bit. Like having a netbook in a phone. Guys far as the camera cellphones they still got a long ways to go. First off the Asus Zenfone 2 able to shoot in manual and control the shuttle speed <--ISO most phones are just able to control ISO White Balance. With Android 5 we are now able to shoot in RAW. The downfall in these cellphones comes with each brand there internal software how they process photos. meaning some over/under sharping, saturate, ect. I know a lot of people rely on cell phones camera as for me not so much. Get a DSLR or a really good compact point n shoot that's able to shoot in Raw and. With Manual controls. For me the internal hardware Ram, CPU Chip performance of the phone do not for get the SD Card.

This article doesn't include the new google handwriting input. I know, it isn't a keyboard ... but if you are intent on taking notes, while maintaining visual contact with the speaker or something you need to see, this is amazing! Cursive or print, it does a very respectable job of recognizing what you write, and converts it into "typed" text.
With a little practice, and one can look up and around at the world!

It's all about how the software on the smarpthone processes the data.
If you're in the market for a new Smartphone and a good camera is at the top of you list Sony makes some of the best camera sensors in the business, so it's no surprise that their Xperia line up is no slouch.  Chinese manufacturer Meizu has snapped up the same lens that was being used in

Nice summary.

Awesome article about the G4's IPS Quantum Display. It doesn't breakdown the science and theories as well as I would like, but it's ok. A big win here is you get 25% more brightness than the G3 with zero impact on the battery.
LG has just unveiled its G4 smartphone and with it a new IPS Quantum Display. Apart from being Quad HD in resolution - delivering 2,560 x 1,440 pixels,

Sorry to be a buzzkill but I'm afraid this article is uninformed on what the "DCI" claim implies:
I wrote about it here: https://plus.google.com/+supercurioFran%C3%A7oisSimond/posts/RpZfX9cFbYo
