MIT Technology Review: Who Will Own the Robots? http://google.com/newsstand/s/CBIw2MTQiCA

A revolution is on its way in the coming decades. The successor to the industrial revolution, the automated world.
Probably what will be one of our biggest challenge ever, finding our place in a world where humans aren't necessary anymore for the world to run.
We should start thinking and shaping this future now, before it's too late.

The second part of the problem will be that smaller people will have difficulties creating business because the need for capital will increase. The saying "you only get rich when you already have money" will probably become even more accurate.

We need to find our value and ensure that we still have our place in the world we create. I also believe that the education should be a key player in ensuring that "future belongs to those with knowledge" will allow everyone to have sufficient education to sustain oneself.

Some great people already started thinking about that. +Barrett Morse. ;)
We’re in the midst of a jobs crisis, and rapid advances in AI and other technologies may be one culprit. How can we get better at sharing the wealth that technology creates?

Quartz: France is about to make it illegal for supermarkets to destroy edible food. http://google.com/newsstand/s/CBIwiI_JviE

Outstanding. #proud
The food will have to be donated to charity, or to farms that can use it for animal feed.

Great article on the theme "do not follow the sheeps, lead the change". And very true when talking about Nintendo. Just "going mobile" is not only very hard but also very dangerous, prone to failure and not adapted to who Nintendo is. Extreme quality is one of Nintendo core value, it is very hard to deliver anything close to that on Mobile, at least without a huge diversion in value. Think about it, how many developers a company like Gameloft has? Versus Nintendo? It would just ruin them to go mobile, and we're not even sure the games would be good.
It's even very likely that they already tried and failed internally. #nintendo #dontgomobile :)
Conventional wisdom is wrong. It is not an inevitability that Nintendo must put its games on rival hardware or die. It may even be a bad move.

Vote for OrientDB as a BitNami stack. #orientdb   #graphdb
OrientDB is an Open Source NoSQL DBMS with the features of both Document and Graph DBMSs. It's written in Java. Supports schema-less, schema-full and schema-mixed modes. OrientDB adheres to the NoSQL movement even though it supports a subset of SQL as query language.

Very good Vietnamese food. Quite authentic. Definitely recommended. The fish sauce is great but a bit too sweet.
