So I'm planning on doing a lot of painting and modelling this year. I really want to get back into the swing of things. Especially as in now have new glasses specially for close up work that mean I'm not having to use one eye to paint with - that gets quite complicated at times! Also we're getting new phones as soon as the Xperia Z2 comes out, and the camera looks awesome. I want to see what it's like on minis. If it fails for that, though, I do have a proper camera to call back on.
I have a huge list of projects I want to do, and whilst I won't be able to afford to do them all quickly. I can work on them over time and try to paint to a high standard.
As some motivation to make me do more stuff I was considering a blog for it all, but I've also seen some forums have sections of the forum where threads basically work as a blog.
I'm pondering the pros and cons of both options and would love to hear from people who blog stuff and people who use a site like cmon or warseer or dakka for their painting 'blog'.
Which do you think is the best approach?
Do people appreciate links to blogs or just posts with the latest pics?
Thanks! I hope to start sharing stuff soon!
Although a couple of hundred thousand hits is nothing compared to a popular blog, I never even thought I would get a hundred, so the whole thing has been very motivating.
Best of luck!
