My husband and I had dinner here several nights per week for almost 6 months when we were stationed in BK and were first dating. I absolutely loved this restaurant and 12 years later I am still comparing every italian dish I eat to the amazing fare located here.

I have been going to this shop since September 1999 and have seen many of their wonderful artists for many different styles of tattooing. PROS: Their artists are very diverse in their talents and the shop in general is very clean, relaxing and inviting. The best part for me is that it's not a "hang out" shop. I have never seen people just in there milling around. People come in, get their art worked on and depart. I have a pretty mean OCD streak and seeing random people just hanging out kind of bugs me because of the germ factor. Most importanly there are no children running around or anything of the sort. As a mother myself, I like to enjoy my time away without having to listen to other people's children and this shop is great for that. They have a huge sign on the front door that states no one under 18 is permitted. This being said, when my daughter was 2, I added her to a tattoo of my son and they did allow me to bring her in long enough for the artist to view her coloring & what not (she's a flaming red head) so the tattoo would be correct upon completion. There are private rooms and each one is decorated for the artist that inhabits that room. Everyone has a different specialty and I have never run into a "hey i did your last tattoo and now you're over there" attitude as I've chosen my shop for life and then I choose an artist for each individual piece and their specialties. I would highly recommend to anyone who is willing to pay for what they're getting - amazing art that will last a lifetime. CONS: Whomever answers the email address for the place is not very good at keeping up with things. I've sent in items on several occasions to have an artist look at it and get back to me with input and have almost never heard back. One time I was probably a nag about it only to finally (weeks later) get a response that I should call the shop and schedule time to come in and have a consultation. If I had wanted to call the shop and schedule something, I would have done that. I work on pieces for months and sometimes years before actually committing them to skin and because of an experience elsewhere, I like to have artist input (i can't draw to save my life - even my stick figures are bad) as I'm building a piece without having to run over to the the place every few weeks, submit something and then await an answer which I'll have to run back over to receive. I wasn't personally happy with that answer but I do understand why I was given it. COMMENTS: One thing I can say is that be careful which artist you pick. This shop does not have set shop pricing. Some artists are reasonably priced and others I'm not so thrilled with. There is nothing posted about each individual artists pricing and they price by the hour not by the piece. As any heavily tattooed person can tell you, this is something you should fully discuss with both the shop manager and the artist ahead of time because you don't want to be surprised when you head to the counter to check out. I had several parts of one piece done by one person over a large period of time with sometimes years in between due to active duty military service overseas and was shocked as I checked out one time because this artist had quadrupled her hourly rate without notifying me before I got in the chair. Again, this really is more my fault for not asking than it is theirs for not telling, but just a caution. CONCLUSION: Also, please remember that many tattoo places are labeled as salons or parlours for a reason - you should most certainly tip your artist each and every single time you sit in that chair. Enjoy :)

The owner's attitude is a little rough, but they always get the job done for far cheaper than anyone else in the area - and cheaper financially does not equate to cheaper quality here like most other places. His employees are always different every time I bring my vehicle there but, given the neighborhood, I'd venture to guess that it's because he doesn't put up with anyone's bs. On many occasions I've brought my vehicles in for an issue that should have been hundreds of dollars to fix and I've been pleasantly surprised to find out that not only is there no reason to completely replace something, but the fix for the issue is only a simple 30-45 minute fix which they are almost always happy to do right then and there for a very minimal fee. The quality of the work coming out of this shop is high. Also, I've never felt so comfortable with knowing that my vehicle is being treated well and that a repair done here will never have to be redone at my expense over and over. The prices this guy gets on tires are absolutely amazing comparative to other shops in the region. Will continue to bring my vehicles here as long as the shop is open and ownership doesn't change. - Female customer, multiple vehicles, no mechanical knowledge
