One of the schools I work with holds an 'International Day' each year. Each class is given a nation to represent, it's an awesome day. The work they put in is amazing! Click on the gallery to have a look. : ) Nick

A sample of our work. This is an outdoor children's portrait in Kenmare, Co Kerry. Featuring the UEFA Champions League trophy. Simple always works. But remember an image isn't finished until it's framed : ) Nick

A child in Calabar shows off his self taught gymnastic skills. I'm delighted with this image.
For the technically curious - this was a 1/1600th exposure. f/2 ISO I00

An interesting article by John Miskelly - in which he chats about the times when passersby may seem reluctant to have their photograph taken.   One of the highlights of my year so far was attending a seminar by Don McMullin, who is a legend in his own field of photography.
He mentioned the same thing, yet instead of asking people "Can I TAKE your picture?" He found that asking "May I take your portrait? yielded much better results.
Incremental Steps to improving photography!
Here's John's article. http://fujilove.com/exploring-chefchaouen/
