Needless to say both are flawless when comes to song quality, not a single bad song in either, although my the one I like least in RiP (Lucretia) I dislike more than the one I like least in AoTW (Now You've Got Something To Die For).
Even though some other bands albums doesn't have weak songs -- Keeper of The Seven Keys Pt. II (Helloween), Master of Puppets (Metallica), Symbolic (Death), Abigail (King Diamond), Images and Words (Dream Theater) etc -- what makes me love RiP and AoTW most is that all songs feel perfectly fit into the album, in the right place, right timing and right number of songs.
All in all, if you're bored and want to listen to something. Rust in Peace and Ashes of The Wake are my best suggestions, followed by the other albums I've listed hehe.
