I hated Skyfall. Who wrote that sh**t?? I think its the worst Bond movie ever and the worst for Daniel Craig whose best so far for me was Casino Royale.

While we decided a long time ago that we wouldn’t be open-sourcing the core Stack Exchange Q&A engine, we do try very hard to open source as many useful parts of our code as we can. As Stack Overflow is one of the most prominent Microsoft .NET-created sites for software developers in the world, we feel that it’s part of our mission to help lead fellow .NET developers — and the most effective way to do that is by contributing some of the code that...

Here's the 9 myths this article "debunks":

Myth 1: Left-Brained People Are Organized, Right-Brained People Are Creative
Myth 2: Your Memory Is An Exact Account of What You See and Experience
Myth 3: You Only Use 10% of Your Brain
Myth 4: Alcohol Kills Brain Cells
Myth 5: The Internet Is Making Us Dumber
Myth 6: Listening to Classical Music Turns Babies into Geniuses
Myth 7: Brain Games Make You Smarter
Myth 8: Your IQ Is Fixed and Stays the Same Throughout Your Life
Myth 9: Your Brain Works Better Under Pressure

I thought that some of these were significant enough that it may change some people's behavior, or the way they talk about things. Worth reading. :-) Also, since the descriptions are brief, I'm not convinced the germ of some of these ideas have really been "debunked" :-)
Brain games will make you smarter! The internet is making you dumber! Alcohol is killing your brain cells! The brain is a mystery we've been trying to solve for ages, and the desire to unlock its secr...

After two phone interviews Google asked me to visit London and have a whole day of chatting about technology and solving intricate coding puzzles. Just to see how good I am on a scale of 1 to Google. An animation of the quicksort algorithm sorting an array of randomized values. (Photo credit: Wikipedia) They aldo sent me an email with advice. It can be summed up as “You should know everything. If it’s to do with computers, you should know it. Her...

A Tanzanian software developer specializing on the Microsoft stack
Introduction
I am a .NET software developer, from Arusha, Tanzania, East Africa but currently working in Liberia, West Africa.

I've been programming & developing software since 2003, I specialize in web and desktop applications development using Microsoft technologies. I'm also "Microsoft Certified" and hold an MCTS and MCPD in Windows development.

I founded Arusha Software and also made tathmini.com

I maintain a blog where I write about programming and software development, the internet and technology in general - http://nickmasao.wordpress.com (real developers, please move on...nothing to see there)

Some of the tools, programming languages and frameworks I use are C#, VB.NET , ASP.NET MVC, jQuery, VBA, SQL Server, MS Access & Office, NUnit, Mercurial, Visual Studio and the .NET Framework among others.

I’m always looking for exciting new challenges and projects, so if you need an application built, help with architecture or just .NET development in general, please get in touch with me.
