New blog post! Day 3 of Prolog (featuring constraint programming)
Datalog. Datalog is a subset of Prolog oriented towards querying that was designed to be embeddable in other languages. Many languages have datalog engines, such as Java, Python, Clojure and Racket. I...

"All code examples will use the variables n and m to refer to integers, the variable x to refer to an unknown but undistinguished argument, and the variables f, g, h, q, and r to refer to functions."

Oh no. We're going to have a lot of functions, aren't we?

Story
Introduction
Hi, I'm Nick Knowlson and two things I can't get enough of are programming and reading. I live in Victoria, BC with my fiance and our cat, Ruby.

I am a software developer, and I love learning and practicing programming. Check out my github account for some of my side projects.

When I read fiction, I mostly read sci-fi & fantasy. I have a large (and growing!) collection of programming books as well.

Other things I enjoy include video games (Starcraft and Minecraft especially), board games (Blockus, Go, and Chess), music (power metal and electronica), and hot caffeinated beverages.

My personal website is up at nickknowlson.com.
