The Mudhafaria Minaret is located in the Minare Park on the west region of Erbil, Iraqi Kurdistan. The minaret is 36 m (118 ft) high, was built in 1190–1232 AD by the Kurdish prince of Erbil, in the reign of Saladin. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mudhafaria_Minaret

Mubarak Bin Ahmad Sharaf-Aldin Abu al-Barakat Ibn al-Mustawfi (1169-1239), a famous Kurdish historian of Erbil, who was born in the ancient citadel of Erbil. He has written in several areas, history, literature and language.
