A portrait session with awesome Auckland model Rose Halfpenny in the New Zealand bush, aiming for a 'lifestyle' type hiking shoot, and hopefully with a bit of cinematic style! More images on my page at http://ndepree.com/photoblave/2015/1/7/rose-in-the-forest

The Cork Oak plantation in the Arboretum in Canberra, Australia. The Arboretum contains 100 plantings of 100 different trees from around the world after the area was burnt out by bushfires in 2001 and 2003. These Cork Oaks are some of the only old trees remaining from the original plantations from the 1800's.

The whole story is on my website at http://ndepree.com/photoblave/2014/1/30/canberra-and-the-wide-brown-land

Münster and the Send - I recently visited the historic town of Münster, famous for being the site of the Anabaptist rebellion in 1534, and the signing of the Treaty of Westphalia to end the 30-years War in 1648.

Interesting town with many historic sites, but also a lot of buildings rebuilt since WW2. I was also there for the Send, a huge fairground which attracts a million visitors per year:

The forest in the Hoge Veluwe National Park, in the Netherlands near Otterlo.

I travelled to the park to visit both the famous Van Gogh collection at the Kroller-Muller museum inside the park, and also to explore the varied landscape on one of the 1700 white bicycles available for free use by anyone in the park.

The full story and many other pictures of the park and museum on my website at:
