- Freelance Writer, Editor and Writing Teacher, present
I am the author of over 100 non-fiction books. These include Living
& Working in Germany, Living & Working in Italy, Start Your Own
Home-Based Business, Stress-Busting, How to Find Your Ideal Partner,
and Advertising for the Small Business.
I also write articles, short stories, advertising copy, TV and radio scripts, website copy, e-books, multimedia presentations, and training materials. In the last few years I have written extensively for the home money-making info website More Money Review.
Another area in which I have worked extensively is writing novelty books and products - everything from quiz books to party games, mystery puzzles to mug and tee-shirt slogans. My main clients are Lagoon Games.
I am the author of a wide range of training courses for writers and aspiring writers, including Blogging for Writers, Write Any Book in Under 28 Days, and Essential English for Authors (all published on CD-ROM or as downloads by the electronic publishing house WCCL. For more information about any of these, please visit my homepage at www.nickdaws.co.uk.
I particularly enjoy fiction writing. I am an award-winning short-story writer, with work published in various anthologies. I am always very interested to receive inquiries about fiction-writing, novelizations, and so on.
I have a blog at www.entrepreneurwriter.net, which anyone with an
interest in writing is warmly invited to visit. On my blog I publish writing-related news, reviews, advice and information.
Although my primary area of expertise is writing and editing, I am also increasingly involved in online publishing and marketing.
I am happy to receive proposals for collaborations and joint ventures, or inquiries about potential writing commissions. My areas of special interest include small business matters and self-employment, self-development, personal finance, gambling for profit, freelance writing, grammar and punctuation, and the Internet. However, as a full-time professional freelance writer, I am happy to write (or edit) on any subject not requiring extensive specialist knowledge.
