feel like you don't know much about bitcoin? watch this (if you have half an hour):

(this is more about bitcoin/economic theory than technical or practical implementations, although some of that is brisked over)

Anyone looking to invest? I can't say it isn't a little risky, but the reward will be high and I'm confident enough to put the kids college fund in AMD right now. The video touches on lots of good information, but may be too technical for someone not a little familiar with cpu and gpu hardware.

I was lucky enough to get in prior to the recent 50% in a day jump, but I think the next 6-9 months, as AMD releases zen CPUs, polaris GPUs, and VR continues to grow will be great for the investment.

This neat article on +Earth911 used my picture as a feature image.  Eat leaves, kid.
Yard of the month? There are countless ways to make your backyard landscape give back to the environment, rather than sucking resources from it.

Phoenix took this.  I probably set the focus to manual, so that is on me.

Introduction
I grew up in North Carolina.  I have lived in Wilmington, Charlotte, and Rutherfordton.  I attended Union Mills Middle School and RS Central High School.  I joined the Army just after high school and was a NBC Operations Specialist while in.  I got out and married my wife, Melissa (Justice) in December of 2003.  We had been together since high school.  I attended UNCA and got my BS in Computer Science (Information Systems emphasis) while Melissa majored in Literature and got her teaching license.  After graduating together in December of 2007, we moved to Waterbury, CT and are both enjoying life here for now.

Loved it! We'd been before, but this trip with a 3 year old, 6 year old, and 8 year old was great! The belugas started the visit off perfectly with close passes and a few pretend bites (the kids loved it!). The sea lions didn't disappoint. The touch tanks are always a hit. I didn't love the penguin exhibit, but the bird walk through was awesome, even though it was an additional fee. We didn't make the prehistoric monsters 4D movie, but it looked neat. Great day, all in all, even if a little expensive.

I had a skip burger and it was tremendous. It was so good that I was able to finish despite the size. The sweet potato fries didn't disappoint and everyone raves about the peanut butter pie for dessert, though it wasn't for me. The French press coffee was nice and bold! I went with a big party and didn't hear one complaint!

I think my expectations are pretty reasonable, and they were met as expected. The coffee was good, the order timely and correct, and the workers polite.

I enjoyed the food and atmosphere here! I accidentally ordered the wings but it was a happy mistake. The playscape out back was great for entertaining the kids after they finished their meals but there was more conversation to be had.

We always love this place! The food is a 4, but the price is good and the service friendly. The golf is a little busy, but that tends to happen when your are the best around!

Great visit, though I don't think there is enough (to see/do) that I'd want to go back in a year or two. The Lego art is amazing and the kids had a blast. I knew my 6 year old would love it, but was pleasantly surprised that there was plenty to keep the 3 year old occupied, as well.
