My column this week looks at the scary world of bots online. Once used to inflate followers, now these bots can make a bad product popular, influence political agenda, and even cause real-life traffic jams.
By using social media bots, celebrities, politicians and others can falsely inflate the number of friends and followers they have, possibly swaying public opinion about a new song — or a policy position.

Thanks for the read. 5$ can buy a shit load of bullshit/but it still remains the same... bullshit. Most peeps I know/work with/on a professional level understand the bizz&buzz see through this/or some of them are at least beginning to see through this bullshit. One of the prime reasons I DO NOT allow/show SKILLS & ENDORSEMENTS on #LinkedIn. Those who know me, know me. Most of my bizz comes from positive personal buzz. In my opinion, I think you look like an complete idiot/imbecile to the rest of the world (or you most certainly will look like an idiot/imbecile to the rest of the world when they catch on to the bull) when your skills and endorsements are immaculate/100% or the same click has provided numerous skills & endorsements for you. I will re-share your post, once again thanks.

My column this week looks at how our next generation smartphones could be as thin as a credit card, as bendable as rubber, waterproof, and have batteries that last for a week. All thanks to "graphene," a new wonder material.
The material has the potential to change the electronics industry, and recently researchers have focused on how to produce it commercially.

My attempts at flying a new drone from DJI.
While flying a drone is really difficult, when you finally get the hang of it you can take some gorgeous photos and videos.

+Nick Bilton you should visit +Robert Scoble for a little drone flying training.
He did expertly well when flying his, taking us 1K feet high, through trees (without hitting one), through roofs and more.

Facebook has an impeccable sense of introducing products that are right for right now. But did the company make a bet on the future that might not pan out with its acquisition of Oculus VR?

Disruptions: Where San Francisco's homeless and startups benefit each other, if even just a little.
Some companies housed in specific low-income areas of San Francisco receive breaks on taxes if they perform tasks that help improve their neighborhoods.

Do teens and anonymity mix well?
Secret is the latest social media platform to confront the tendency of anonymous chat to provide cover for bad behavior.

Creo que a la mayoria de adolescentes para lo que les conviene les encanta estar en anonimato y a la vez llamar la atencion sin ser molestados
