My column this week on strippers selling one-on-one shows on snapchat for snapcash.
The mobile app has become a popular platform for X-rated photos, videos and personalized shows, often sold on the sly to avoid violating rules.

My column this week is a profile on Jerome Jarre, "The Vine Guy" and why he's so loved by his teenage fans.
Mention Jerome Jarre (“that French guy”) to typical teenagers today, and they will know exactly which French guy you are talking about.

My column this week on why I've become obsessed with SnapChat Stories. Along with lots of excitable teenagers. (Featuring a video with +Casey Neistat)
Imagine a short and very personal TV show: directed, edited and starring you. It lasts 24 hours and then — poof! — it’s gone.

On Thanksgiving, while we’re thankful for all that tech companies have done, I’m not sure how thankful these companies are for us.
While (most) tech start-ups have been on better behavior in 2014, there have been dozens of instances when they acted poorly, even unethically.

I spent time with #AlexfromTarget for my column this week and learned that there is a very dark side to being Web famous at 16-years-old.
A social media phenomenon tells the full story of instant web celebrity.

At what age should your kids be allowed their own social media accounts? My column offers an answer to that question.
When you break it down, there are essentially three social media doors that you can unlock for a child.

We let our kids have a shared youtube account, but it is under a new email address not connected to our names/city and I filter and upload all the videos to make sure there is no mention of where we live. I think you missed a big issue in the article which is stalking. My then 10 year old niece had a cyber stalker who was following my sister's social media accounts. Once they figured out this person was a little too interested in my niece, they made everything private, but those people are out there.

Lyf'ts tacky cutesy branding is hurting it in the war with Uber.
Lyft, the ride-sharing service, comes up with fuzzy, hokey ideas when all most customers want is a quick, safe ride.

Behind the world of bots online, there is a giant pyramid scheme of adverting dollars, celebrities and spam. Meet my bot army... or bot petting zoo:

My column this week about artificial intelligence shows that while it has lots of amazing potential as a technology, it could also destroy civilization.
Smarter technology requires smarter humans to keep machines under control.

(*) And, in fact, any trade off or limitation that will apply to AI already applies to the human brain, so your argument is moot.
