Twitter has been testing more mainstream verbiage by replacing “Retweet” with “Share.”  Twitter has been quite active in tweaking the user interface as of late. Last week, “views” were spotted and yesterday, we saw the introduction of tagging without adding a Twitter handle in the Tweet. Eli Langer of CNBC […]

I visited the flying fox recently for the first time and the service was terrible. We waited at the empty bar for nearly 15 mins to be served whilst staff walked past us and didn't even acknowledge our presence. We ordered 2 drinks and a bowl of chips to share, sat outside. After 30 mins the chips hadn't turned up, flagged it with a member of staff and they had forgotten. Seriously, these guys must do better, I won't be risking the restaurant service here or even making a second visit.

My partner and I camped at Beech Croft Farm for the first time in June this year and we found the place to be excellent. The location was fantastic located right on the Monsal Trail and the new facilities block provided everything you could want from a camping trip with hot, high pressure showers, extremely clean toilets and basins, and plenty of washing up facilities. Their commitment to an environmental/eco-friendly site was also a very nice addition with ground source heated water amongst other installations. For the price per night you pay to camp here along with the facilities and location we would definitely recommend this site to anyone looking to visit the Peak District! The pigmy goats also made for a fun addition to the site! Excellent facilities, excellent location and very friendly staff, just a shame about the weather as we got caught up in the Derbyshire floods! Superb.
