I can't in good conscience sit down to any of the feasts I'll enjoy in the next two months with family & friends without helping those in need to do the same.

If you head over to Palmer field at O’Shaughnessy Stadium it’s pretty quiet these days. That will all change in a few short weeks as the St. Thomas football team prepares for the start of the fall season. Camp starts in early August for the Tommies, who went 14-1 last season. That one loss prevented St. Thomas from winning its first national championship.

Great #CabernetDay  fun!
OK, so all these goofy celebration days have started showing up.  They don't always make sense.  Enjoy Cabernet based wines in August?? Whose idea was that?  Once you decide to just go with it, you...

The atmosphere is energetic, borderline rowdy, just like Travail before it. We found plenty of value in the tasting menu for two, which consisted of a hot & a cold appetizer selected by the kitchen, two pizzas selected by us, and a dessert selected by the kitchen. The potato leek soup is the best thing I've had yet this year. Our two pizzas (the Piggy Pizza and the Sour Cream & Onion) were quite good. I preferred the deep dish brioche crust on the Piggy; it just kind of melted in my mouth where the regular crust required more chewing than I prefer. We traded a couple of pieces of our Sour Cream & Onion for as many of the Raphael with the couple sitting next to us; I will go back for the Raphael repeatedly. The flavor of the chicken mole was excellent. And guac on a pizza; who knew?
