Lol, so I was going to my settings on my Galaxy S5 to unlock the dev tools so I can tweak animation speeds and speed my phone up a bit since the new Lollipop update - for those of you who are geeks, you will appreciate this story. Well if you don't already know, if you continuously tap on the build version number inside your "About Device" section in your "Settings", after pressing about 10 times very rapidly, a new section in your "Settings" will open (that is locked until you do this) called "Dev tools." Inside this new section that you just unlocked, you can tweak your processor speed, animation times for various things like screen transitions, unlock effects etc., and lots of other features you typically don't have access to alter unless you unlock the "Dev Tools" by following the method I just described...

But on to the story! I don't know why, I just like playing with options and various things in programs to see if they do anything under different circumstances. With that said, I started rapidly tapping on "Android Version" since it was one of the things that changed when I updated to the new Lollipop operating system for my droid (if you are trying this after reading my post, the text beneath "Android Version" says "5.0"). I did this because it was the same way you unlock the dev tools, figured since it works on the build number something might happen here...WELL!

After doing that I was confronted with a NEW screen displaying only my background wallpaper and a yellow sphere in the center of my screen. I'm serious, I found this totally by accident and I had no idea what was going on! So I touched the yellow sphere and it turned into a big orange lollipop with the word "lollipop" written on it lol. (Screenshots of all of this are attached to this post). I thought that was the end of it, because if you keep touching the lollipop, it just changes colors. I thought it was kind of silly and pointless, but cool nonetheless. Well, I found out after doing it again to take screenshots for this Facebook post that if you hold down on the lollipop, a game opens!!

The game is hard as hell, & I must have died at least a hundred times in a very short time, but it's pretty cool and thought I would share this with everybody here on Google+ if you are interested in playing it. Don't know how to describe it, kind of reminds me of a Nintendo game from the original NES, but much much harder to play. I must have died 100 times in a very short time, but I can see myself playing this on an airplane or when I'm extremely bored lol. If you can't access the game or are having problems, comment me on this thread or send me a message and I will try to help you get into the game.

Lol, what a weird little hidden game in the new Android Lollipop operating system. Thanks developers . That was fun!

By the way, the game runs so quickly, it's really hard to take screenshots, so play the game for yourself, screenshots don't really do it justice lol. Have fun :)

This would be my wonderful girlfriend and fiance :-), her daughter posted it without her knowing and I just couldn't help but share it. Enjoy world!

Happy Pi Day everyone!  Woot! Yay math!

Pi-factoid:  The first 144 digits of pi add up to 666, the Number of the Beast in the Book of Revelation.

Post has attachment I was perusing the list of patron saints today.  For a friend of course :P.  But I was NOT aware that there was a Saint for the Internet!!

Everyone, don't forget to praise St. Isidore of Seville every day when you log on to do your daily activities!  Ask for his blessing!

I wish I could write things this well. Shinedown's song "I'll follow you" has been stuck in my head since I woke up - must have been playing outside and I heard it through the window or something while I was asleep because I haven't heard it at all today. But Here are the lyrics:

The video is lame at best in my opinion - but that's just my view on the art. This isn't my generation of art any more and maybe this new generation has some crazy new ability to communicate with more meaning through emotions...or I'm insensitive to the message itself - but I'd like to think its both, at least the message the video is trying to convey. We're allowed to dislike things; wanna fight about it? I don't, but a hater's gonna hate! Just put that trash in a comment .

Ignoring the horrible video though, and listening / reading the lyrics; the message is, in all interpretations, peaceful, positive and hopeful. Even though the passage of the lyrics leads you through an intensely painful ride of indulging into an endless pit pain and sorrow, the line at the beginning "If I could find assurance to leave you behind I know my better half would fade. I'll follow you down" implies that making the choice to do this is the right thing for the subject of this song because they are somehow enhanced or at least held together by this counterpart who is falling into some kind of darkness. Beyond any seemingly selfish reason this subject chooses to do it in aid of the counterpart. Its pretty selfless...

All in all though, the song is pretty beast and the lyrics are a work of a genius. Truly an ability to convert such an amazing message into words. These words are more than double entendre. Not gonna lie though, ending with I'll follow you is a LITTLE creepy...even though one of the hidden meanings is religious and you wouldn't necessarily be creeped out if God was following you through the worst time of your life. I wish I'd have accepted something like that as truth YEARS ago.

So...kind of long winded, Yep...gonna end with that. Night you drunk bastards! Get home safe - cause that's all that's up this late Saturday night / Sunday morning!

Lyrics posted below:

"I'll Follow You"

[Verse 1:]
If I could find assurance to leave you behind
I know my better half would fade
And all my doubt is a staircase for you
Opened out of this maze

The first step is the one you believe in
The second one might be profound.

I'll follow you down through the eye of the storm
Don't worry I'll keep you warm.
I'll follow you down while we're passing through space
I don't care if we fall from grace
I'll follow you down

[Verse 2:]
You can have the money and the world
The angels and the pearls
Even trademark the color blue
Just like the tower we never built
In the shadow of all the guilt
When the other hand was pointed at you

Yeah the first step is the one you believe in
And the second one might be profound.

I'll follow you down, through the eye of the storm
Don't worry I'll keep you warm.
I'll follow you down, while we're passing through space
I don't care if we fall from grace
I'll follow you down... where forever lies
Without a doubt I'm on your side
There's nowhere else that I would rather be
I'm not about to compromise,
Give you up to say goodbye
I'll guide you through the deep
I'll keep you close to me!

I'll follow you down through the eye of the storm
Don't worry I'll keep you warm.
I'll follow you down while we're passing through space
I don't care if we fall from grace
I'll follow you...

If I could find assurance to leave you behind
I know my better half would fade
I'll follow you down.

This post is not a share or a link written by someone else, you all know I only post on here when I'm authoring the content of the post so please take the time to read this post and the connected story if you have the time :)

What's up my "G's?"  I haven't posted anything in a while but I feel this deserves the time to share with you all directly.  My real life best friend has embarked into the endlessly fulfilling art of writing and has released his most recent work a short time ago for everyone to read - FOR FREE to boot :P!

"The Wrong Girl" is a short story of a woman who was assaulted that exacts revenge on her captors.  It was written and designed to conform to a shorter story format but will be re-written in the future to be a full length book / screenplay.  The story was written with the idea of Cameron Diaz as the protagonist.

Additionally, any and all constructive criticism or praise is welcomed and can be left on the website where the story resides. Close to 1000 people have already read and enjoyed the story and my friend George hopes that you enjoy it too.  As always, thanks for your time!

Question for anyone familiar with CSS / HTML:

I'm trying to insert either a table inside of a cell of a table - OR - a div containing a table that is centered inside of a cell.  I can let you in on what I'm doing this for if you need to know my application of this.  I've not had much luck lately with Dreamweaver.  Thanks in advance - appreciate it.

+Heather Dougherty, looks like you beat me to it lol!  Happy Pi Day everyone! And no...its not "irrational" to celebrate numerological coincidences in our astrological Rolodex. If I had to rate today's awesome level, I'd rate it at about 3 1/7 - to express it more accurately: 3.14/5...But luckily I don't have to - cause i'm not a pi-rate! Yarrr!

Cheers to discovering the focus area of your circle of friends and how that applies to your life today...well for that matter, the volume of their appreciation for your affections. I bet you're probably thinking that anyone who'd measure something like that in pi are squared and rigid...and you'd be right!  If you think doing it this way is rational - you'd be wrong!

I can go on like this FOREVER to infinity...I should stop :)

BUT WAIT!  Did you know that you can't have more than 5000 people in your G+ circles?  If we could come together and coerce G+ to change the radius to 100 instead of its current ~39.9 we could have 31,400 friends on here!  Now you know...and knowing is half the battle.  And since you know half than you know the other half would still be ~39.9.  Rest assured, once word starts getting "around" - you'll arrive right back to where we started!  Happy pi day!

^ ^ See, I should have stopped then...but I did say forever to infinity!
