"Culture is useless. Unless you are curing AIDS or cancer or really impacting everyday human lives, there’s no reason to build culture. You are building a company to make money, not a family."  I guess I already know what his company culture will be like. Good luck building your team!

In the past two months, US$1.7 trillion has been added to China's stock market capitalisation, with some Chinese valuations now looking excessive. According to leading equity broker CLSA, China's nine largest listed stockbrokers have a combined market capitalisation of US$319 billion. The market is indeed hot; one start-up peer-to-peer Chinese financial portal has, for example, seen one million new subscribers sign up in the past three months. ...

Watching this video brings back an ominous feeling about the ratification of the TPP. I have personally met at least 10 patients who will die within a reasonable short period of time if they don't have access to generic drugs, direct from the mouths of hospital administrators. Shkreli sort of personifies everything that's wrong about the pharmaceutical industry which the TPP will defend and protect https://www.facebook.com/quartznews/videos/1103849949648706/

World tells geek how to curve and geek tells world how it can move.
Introduction

Nicknamed "Gadget Boy" by friends at age 18 because he used to scribble Grafitti on a PalmPilot faster than others would type, today Nicholas Aaron Khoo is the epitome of a digital nomad who lugs around a 5kg dual-screen/dual-harddisk Lenovo Thinkpad W700ds he affectionately calls "Chewie" for conquering Zergs while tweeting on the second screen, complete with disaster recovery on the RAID drive for that good night's sleep.

You can get your daily caffeine fix even before 9am (I usually get mine around 830am). Best coffee in this area and top 3 favourite in Singapore. Period. Great energetic environment though spaces are really tight.
