Looking to hire 2-3 people in Charleston with solid social skills and research capability, to do entry-level application support for a big piece of ticketing software (think stadiums, museums, and orchestras). Pay is on par with the other local software shops. If you want to go a techie route you get the opportunity to learn a lot of SQL and .NET. If not, no worries. We'll be adding consultants, devs, and salespeople over the year, but everyone starts in Support. If you majored in a foreign language, computer science, arts management, library science, or something requiring a lot of creative thinking, send me a message and we'll talk.

There are 9 seats left for tomorrow's free session, where you will learn how to save anywhere from a few hundred dollars, to tens of thousands, on your nonprofit's software purchases.

Some science for your face. Feel like volunteering somewhere now? Palmetto Technology Hub is a good option for the technologically inclined, as is BarCamp. For the arts-oriented, I heard there's this really cool film society in Charleston...
People who volunteer may live longer than those who don't, as long as their reasons for volunteering are to help others rather than themselves, suggests new research.

funny how somehow there is always "research to show …" whatever you might need to prove your point :)
jokes aside the Tech Hub is a great place to volunteer!

Discovering that the documentation on the Drupal Mailhandler module is a bit lacking. Once I actually have my head wrapped around the whole thing (including the commands system), I'm thinking a blog post or an update to the docs page is in order...

Hope to see you at the theater tonight getting your fill of brand new, SC-produced indie film. Crowdsourced by Kickstarter and shot at South of the Border, this flick has a lot going for it. Q&A with the filmmaker afterwards!
TAKEN IN is a handmade feature film about a man who must spend a weekend alone with his estranged teenage daughter at a roadside resort.

Charleston Drupal User Group meetup tomorrow night. Please RSVP by noon tomorrow so we know how much Park Pizza to order. The link takes you to the Facebook event page, just some G+ limitations on how it shows the link... http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=173287166074745

Has anyone written a Mailhandler command plugin for Drupal 7? Looks like the default command plugin forces commands to be on the first line of an email, which doesn't really fly when the goal here is reply-by-email. I'm going to take a crack this weekend but was hoping someone had been here already. Oh, and if I can jump this last hurdle, got a sweet feature/recipe to replace Mailcomment with the full goodness of nodes.

Alternately, if you know of a way to hijack a mail header in Rules (maybe msg-id) to contain a node reference, that would work too...

Get your early copy of Drupal Watchdog magazine, issue #2. Good article on building a module in D7, and an intro to the upcoming Relation module.

Did I miss when WordPress added a front end tool for custom lists and tables, with user-defined filters?
