I wanted to visit a place with a strong character and authenticity preserved by its inhabitants. The idea behind undertaking this excursion was not to document the art forms or their processes but to capture the essence & the rawness of the place through portraits.

Snow-capped mountains, vast lakes and amazing glaciers. If you ever want to escape civilisation and head into the wild, Yukon in Canada’s northwest is the place to go. It’s largely untouched, remote and has a subarctic continental climate. The territory itself is larger than California! https://goo.gl/tDGw1N #Yukon #Canada #NewTravelist

The answers to my questions, “where do I belong?” and “what the hell do I do with my life?” may not have been answered completely, but I found direction and peace that day with Ice Lake. Colorado is where I belong. Adventuring in the mountains, breathing in the air where wildflowers paint the horizon and jagged peaks beg to be explored is where I will BE. “I think I’m going to Kenya, honey. Ana is leaving soon and it’s my chance to get to know Africa. I don’t know, it’s a bit risky, but I think it’s the right time to go.” http://newtravelist.com/2016/05/kenya-finding-whats-behind-the-visible/
