For most of the kids at The Ranches, we are, from the very beginning, a temporary place to live. Our efforts center around healing the relationships in a child’s life so that they may return home. Sadly, for an alarming number of kids across the country, temporary is all that they have ever known. Foster care placement to foster care placement but no real hope of permanency. National Adoption Day serves as a reminder that you can indeed help. While adopting a child is a monumental undertaking, many kids are in need of a home and of loving adults. You don’t have to be perfect, just perfectly willing to love someone who isn’t a part of your family just yet. If you’ve ever considered adopting, we encourage you to reach out a get more information. The lives you change may just include your own.
