Falconry has a tremendous history. It dates back to ancient times, in fact, it predates writing. Though this sport has dropped out of favor in our increasingly technological society, there are those that still work with falcons and other winged birds of prey. Last year we hosted NH State Police K-9 to a full house and learned how officer and canine communicate. This year we'll learn how humans communicate with feathered creatures.

Where: New Hampshire Telephone Museum

1 Depot Street

Warner, NH 03278

603-456-2234

What was the last movie you watched? Did the telephone play a "role" in the film?

We should create another image that includes today's phone.

The Bureau of Emergency Communications is a nationally accredited 9-1-1 center.
Their mission is "to serve as the communications link between the public and public safety agencies, furthering the ideal of "One Nation, One Number." Wanda Bowers will be joining us to share the history of 911, how it’s funded, how each call is handled and how mobile technology has changed the way people can reach out for help. — at New Hampshire Telephone Museum.
