WARNING ALTERNATE SIDE PARKING

Effective April 1, 2014-October 31,2014, street sweeping occurs throughout the city. Signs are posted on each street advising when street sweeping will take place and when alternate side parking is required so that street-sweeping crews can clear the streets of debris.

In order to do their job properly, street sweepers need curbs to be clear of vehicles. This service is paid for by the city’s taxpayers, and taxpayers expect the service to be performed. By leaving your vehicle on the street when the sweeper arrives, you are preventing the curb line in that area from being cleaned, as well as the areas before and after your vehicle, as the sweeper needs to maneuver past the parked vehicle. Be a good neighbor, obey the alternate side parking rules and kindly move your vehicle.

We are happy to announce that the next phase of our renovation project at the Lower Church Street Deck will be a full modernization of the elevator. The elevator will out of service for approximately 6-8 weeks from March 31, 2014 to May 18, 2014. Staff will be available on-site to assist patrons. Simply call (732) 667-8100 to reach security. We apologize for any inconvenience this will cause as we continue to improve facilities for our patrons.

Thank you.

We’re expecting higher than normal traffic around State Theater tomorrow, 3/15/2014. We would like to remind patrons coming into town that New St Deck and Morris St Deck are very close options that are available. If you plan on parking in the Civic Deck under the Bloustein building, please be prepared with exactly $8.00 or a credit card. We will have security on site to help with the flow of traffic.

Also, please be aware we're expecting a large number of families and children. Please use extra caution when in the area of the State Theater.
