"Each hectare that was drip irrigated covered its costs quickly by generating high yields." - Georges Waler, CSS, Senegal
When CSS - Sengal Sugar Company wanted to expand its sugarcane crops, the only areas available were arid and sandy, and expectations were not high. However, after implementing Netafim's drip irrigation technology, yields reached 150 tons/ha since the first year and have continued to reach these levels every year since.
This is just one of the smart solutions for sugarcane that will be presented at the 7th Africa Sugar 2017 conference, to be held on April 5-6, in Nairobi, Kenya.

With drip irrigation we irrigate the plant and not the soil.
Each plant receives the exact amount of water and nutrients it needs.

Netafim was proud to host 33 of its Italian dealers this week for a seminar held in Kibbutz Magal and Kibbutz Hazterim. The goal of the meeting was to deepen cooperation with our dealers, and provide them with tools concerning our innovative irrigation products. The agenda also included exposure to our production lines and quality-assurance methods. This enriching event exemplified Netafim’s commitment to the quality of its products, the satisfaction of its customers, and to its history of innovation in the field of drip irrigation.
We are sure that this successful seminar will enhance cooperation with our Partners for Success.

Yesterday we experienced the growing global interest in smart irrigation up close and personal when a delegation of high-level Indian journalists from India visited our Hatzerim site. In addition to touring our Hatzerim plant, the Foreign Ministry-sponsored delegation met with Chief Sustainability Officer Naty Barak and CEO Ran Maidan. The journalists showed great interest in Netafim, particularly the challenges we face in India. We were pleased to have had the opportunity to further increase awareness of smart irrigation and Netafim to the esteemed delegation.
