Karloff's Frankenstein is amazing. He nails the dead eyes of a reanimated corpse. But my favorite will always be Lugosi's Dracula. Passionate, intense and intimidating.

I've always been partial to the Invisible Man. Amazing special effects for the time period.
These would be a great addition to my collection! I always liked Wolfman personally.
Favorite Hollywood monster would have to be Jason Voorhees. Dude went through a lot to get to a happy place in life.
Frankenstein's Monster is the clear winner here. If for no other reason than for the fact that he doesn't set out to do monstrous things, he simply doesn't know any better and bumbles into bad behavior. He's the monster equivalent of a child with a fork and an electrical socket.
Frankenstein was my first monster crush. I remember in the first grade, I tried to buy a copy of Frankenstein at the school book fair. I got talked into a more age appropriate book. Years later, when I finally read it, I was a little pissed that it wasn't like the movies. I got into Dracula a little later and, for some unknown reason, lately I've started getting into the Creature of the Black Lagoon.
I stand by my original Hollywood favorite. And I would, quite literally. Come on! It's The Blob! You could literally stand behind him/her/it and have ample time to run away. In fact, you may have just enough time to watch the aforementioned Blu-ray movies before being swallowed up by the androgynous, amorphous amalgam of goo.
Such a hard choice! I will pretty much watch anything with Vampires or Werewolves, but The Creature from the Black Lagoon holds a special place for me!
