My favorite sci-fi flicks?  Geese, don't make it too easy or anything.  Original Star Wars trilogy, Galaxy Quest, Iron Giant, Ridick, Matrix, etc. etc. etc.

Favorite sci-fi flicks? Oh, wow. This will take a while. Let's see...War of the Worlds (the original, of course), the Time Machine (I'm a fan of the oldies), and last but certainly not least, my current favorite show is Doctor Who!

To avoid the CRAZY cliche, lets go with Waterworld, Mad Max, and anything directed by John Carpenter.  I grew up with a fan and you just have to love the badness.
