It has been a while since we found a piece that so accurately took our arguments (circa 2013) on the 'influencer market' (here in Kenya, East Africa and the world over) and summed them up like so.

Our favourite quote sums it up:

"The paradox of influencer marketing is that when we attempt to buy influence, we transform it into endorsement, which everyone understands is a commercially created fiction."

By Faris Yakob of Genius Steals.

We're inventing a new acronym this holiday season.
From Nendo to you, we'd like to say to you HHTYAY.

Wondering what it means? You're not the only one. It means Happy Holidays to You and Yours.

Mark & Nendo.

"On the internet, nobody knows you're a dog."

The team at Nendo thought long and hard on how to mark World Social Media Day and we found the New Yorker's famed illustration by Peter Steiner published in 1993 as the perfect way of speaking to a long history since the invention of the internet.

Thanks to Paul for the pictures and Mark for the words.

Happy World Social Media Day to you. #SMDay #SMDayKE
