A recent article in the New York Times regarding new research into the demands of parenting sparked some interest online.

After sharing the article, I received a few questions on my thoughts about over-parenting and the rise of moms and/or dads opting to stay home. I figured a podcast would be a great way to share my thoughts with you!

In this week's podcast, I discuss:

→ The reasons many parents choose to stay at home
→ How advances in child development are changing the way we parent today
→ The role parental burnout plays in the choices parents are making

...and more!http://neildbrown.com/17-blog/podcast/is-it-okay-to-be-an-at-home-mom/

In a recent podcast, I addressed a parent's concerns with how to handle their teen's decision to leave home.

It's important to remember that confident parents and our schools are critical in providing kids with the structure they need to overcome their struggles.
