This other research suggests only 20% of women have been harassed compared to the 50% claimed by the BBC research...but even if it was 0.01% it still needs addressing! What's more telling is that this research suggests that a third (33%) of female sexual harassment cases reported to someone in the business were not followed up, while a fifth (18%) were not even acknowledged, according. It also found that two-thirds (67%) of women who have experienced harassment don’t report it to their company. Very sad stats. #timeforchange?

Employers need to take this issue seriously and deal with matters as soon as it comes to their attention. Having the right policies in place to manage the situation will help. Hang on, I know a man that can help here...!
