Questions & Answers  -

Hello Everyone,
I am using a Macbook Pro 17 Late 2011 and an Apple Thunderbolt Display.  I also have an Apple Wireless Bluetooth Keyboard and a Magic Mouse connected to my Macbook Pro.  The first couple of weeks my Magic Mouse worked perfectly, but now it is consistently disconnecting and needs to be re-enabled like once or twice a day.  I had my computer looked at and they ran the diagnostic finding no problems with the bluetooth in the computer.  They also reset the PRAM, the SMC, and reset the bluetooth.  I was wondering if anyone else has ran into this problem before.  I am running OS X Yosemite on the Expresscard Hard Drive and Mavericks on the internal HD.  I haven't tried it in Mavericks but I assume it works fine.  The thing that makes me believe it is the mouse is that the keyboard never needs to be re-enabled.  I was thinking about trying out an Apple Trackpad to see if that works better for me.  Any help is appreciated.  Thank you for your time.

Congratulations! You've run into the Bluetooth bug that's been reported since the developer previews. I love Apple, but there's no way they didn't know about this bug when they shipped Yosemite.

It's a huge usability problem and big black eye for Apple in my opinion. I use the trackpad built in to my MBP and my wife switched to an old school USB wireless mouse. Between iPhones and iPads, there are way too many devices in my home to ensure everyone has Bluetooth off when they walk in the door. Additionally, we have a couple sets of Bluetooth speakers to AirPlay to while cooking, etc.

Apple Watch  -

Has anyone run into any problems with the Apple watch's wake from sleep arm movement? Sometimes when I raise my arm the watch wakes up for like 5 seconds while other times it wakes up for a split second and then goes dark. Any help is appreciated. Thank you for your time.

I've heard of similar problems, I believe you can manually wake the watch.

I have been to Dr. Tattoff for laser tattoo removal on numerous occasions. I have three tattoos that I am having removed and am about halfway through the process. Their staff is friendly, courteous and professional. I never have to wait for more than ten minutes for them to see me and they always send me home with a smile. They have the most up to date lasers in the city, and do great work every time. I highly recommend this place over other businesses like Laseraway and We Laser.

Bobby at Hollywood PC Repair is very good at what he does, and he goes out of his way to make sure you are a satisfied customer. He does efficient work and his prices are very competitive. The best part is there is no diagnostic charge and he only bills you if he is capable of fixing the problem. The turnaround time is short and he works until the problem is solved. He has very good equipment and has been working on computers for years. I highly recommend him for any job, big or small.
