+Brooke Rubin Oh my gosh.   I didn't intend it, but I really needed it.  The girl couldn't believe how tight my shoulders were.  I need to go back again.  They didn't even begin to loosen up.   But HEY!  Our old house finally closed!  YAY!  Maybe I can begin to relax a bit...................

Swiping down on the notification should take me to the lock screen it seems. Rarely does this work with one attempt. Frequently it takes 5+ making the app more of a blocker for me to get into my phone than a benefit for quickly seeing notifications that are important to me. Ultimately, I uninstalled it. I'll give it a try again after an update to see if that helps at all.

Still seems pretty buggy and unreliable. More frustrating than anything.

This is one of those places that it would be nice to give half stars too. I'm not sure it is actually 4 stars for me, but I'll error on the side of caution because I really did like the food. I ordered the Crying Tiger Beef which came on a bed of salad greens and a spicy sauce on the side. Like I said, I really liked it. Service was good, but honestly the place wasn't very busy at all. I was the only one at the small bar (seats 3) so I had the bartender's full attention. Even so, if you plan on eating, I don't suggest the bar to sit at. The stools are a bit shakey and the bar height is awkward at best.

I wish I could give 1/2 stars. If so, this would be a 2 1/2 star review. I will say, when all was said and done, I was satisfied with the results. However, the overall experience was less than optimal. I typically do my own taxes with Turbo Tax, but we moved this year, got some benefits, have a couple rental properties, had to file taxes for 2 states, so I figured it would be wise to pay someone professional. We started looking around and Xpress Tax Solutions was reasonably priced and had positive review, so we chose them. Upon our first and only in person visit, the office was in shambles due to renovations. It was not a great first impression, but I can't really knock them for it. We arranged for a consultation over the phone but when we met with one of their tax preparers, they didn't really answer any questions and acted as if we were starting our tax return. We had been quoted a price over the phone, so I verified the price again, which they confirmed. At this point, I felt reasonably comfortable going with Xpress Tax Solutions and began providing all the requested documentation, W2's etc. We left the office with a few action items for docs to provide to them. The same day, I gathered all the available requested docs and securely emailed them to the preparer we met with. She confirmed receipt, but I still had several docs I needed to gather. Over the course of a couple days, I gathered those up and sent them via email to her as I had successfully done previously. In my emails I asked if there was anything additional they needed from me. I didn't receive a reply for over a week. Even then when I got a reply, it was only because I cc'd her supervisor on the email. When the preparer responded, she stated she had not received any of my emails and asked if I could send the documentation to her personal email address. I did not feel comfortable with this and told her I would be happy to send them to her supervisor since they seemed to receive my emails fine. Not a minute later, she claimed she found my emails and would begin working on my return. A few days later, I received the proposed return and bill. The bill was 30% more than I had been told and had confirmation in email discussions. I was told it was due to filing Federal and 2 states. They did provide a small discount to accommodate for the quote error, but it still turned out to be almost $100 higher than quoted originally. I agreed to the new price, signed the returns and authorized e-filing. Another week goes by, and I receive a call from the office manager asking me if I approved the returns and e-filing and for payment. I had provided all this information previously, but they had not moved forward. Thankfully, it was only February, so there were no missed deadlines. I'm hoping my situation was an anomaly, as I would like to be able to use them again in the future should I need professional tax preparation

Bar tender was preoccupied with what appeared to be family so service was extremely slow. Food was good and overall not a bad place to watch a game. I sat at the bar as I usually do when dining alone, so I ordered my food and drinks from the bartender. I found it odd that I received 2 separate checks, apparently they keep the bar and restaurant stuff separate regardless of how you place your order. It appeared customers at tables had the same issue. Just a strange observation.
