Social learning is much more a cultural outcome than a process or a program to be followed.

Awesome piece by +Sahana Chattopadhyay.
I have been writing about social learning and its related concepts – communities of practices, working out loud and skills for the networked world for quite some time now. Social learning has become a buzzword in the workplace learning space, and every other organization is claiming to have “social learning” as a part of the mix. The catch is that “social learning” cannot just be implemented or enforced. One cannot inset social learning in the tra...

If you want to be a true innovator, be prepared to leave everyone behind.

Don't miss out on Pankaj and Poonam's 'extremely honest' wedding. All India Bakchod is back with a BANG.

Pretty good read to start your day/week with.
The source of our happiness is closer than ever to being located, measured and commodified. Alex Renton meets the ‘psychoeconomists’ and asks, have they created a monster?

Ruskin Bond has been weaving magic with his pen since 1950.

His poignant tales of childhood and love, the hills and rains, people and trains, never failed to find their way to your heart and linger there. Looking at the world through his words, you can't help but fall in love. Over and over again.

This is so very Anindya Chattopadhyay - the tune, the melody, the lyrics. The song has this strange thing in it - it makes you happy, it makes you sad, it throws you back to your past.

From buildings to the interiors of the buildings, everything was designed to get the look and feel of #Bombay in the 60s. In about 10 months, the entire set (city) of the film was constructed, in Sri Lanka, in an area of 9 acres. With the help of locals, Sri Lankan government and Kashyap's fantastic production crew, the whole of Bombay was built from scratch. Such is the scale and grandeur of the sets created that parts of the set, rather than being dismantled, will be used as a tourist attraction in the future.

This 6 minute video below captures what went behind the scenes in creating the sets.

I think Arsalan is one of best restaurants when it comes to Mughlai cuisine. The price is well within range and the food tastes yum. If you are in the city, this is one restaurant you must visit for authentic Biryanis and Kababs

This is certainly one of the best that we have in Kolkata. One of the oldest, yet modern single-screen cinema hall, that attracts both young and old from across the city.
