I always stay at the Nativo Lodge. Take care selecting a room away from noisy exterior fan. The décor in the lobby is beyond unique. Oy. This place is a good value.

I am very upset with our recent stay with this hotel. I left jewelry in the room, which was expensive but the sentimental value meant so much more to me than the cost. My contact with the front desk and the housekeeping manager were not close to satisfactory, they did not care or even try to find a solution. When I went to file an incident report I had to wait because another young lady was there complaining about another issue. The front desk, Charlie, spoke with her and said the new manager hasn't even been with the hotel for a year and expressed that the new general manager did not know what he was doing. When I spoke with Charlie he proceeded to lecture me on things of value and how if it were him, "he would keep these items close to him". I know now that I will never get my items returned to me, I am writing a letter to the general manager in hopes of some solution but according to Charlie, that will not happen either. I am disgusted with the staff at this hotel and refuse to stay here again!

Check in took a while, but room was clean and bed was comfy. Worst night ever, though! There was a wedding party that partied until 4am. We complained, but no one came to tell them to quite down. I know because I could hear very clearly everything going on between "Esther and Daniel and all their friends coming and going". Besides our noisy neighbors you could hear everything from the freeway, and our room was above the entrance so we got to listen to everyone who pulled up to check in. If it weren't for my 3 month old being sound asleep after a long day in the sun I would have left at 1am and just made the long trip home. I maybe got 3 hours of not so good sleep anyways, since the little is up at 6am. Never will I stay here again.

Beware of hidden fees! We booked directly with them through Heritage booking services to the (888) number and they never notified us at any time over the phone, on e-mail confirmation, or at time of check-in that there was going to be a an incidental fee hold added to the base price. This put a damper on our weekend somewhat because it was an additional $65 +/-. Hotel was nice and amenities were good. Staff was not as friendly or helpful as in some other hotels in same vicinity though. This is more of a self serve hotel I guess... There were a few housekeeping issues as well: only roll of TP was the one in room for 2 nights and it was half way done when we arrived, one cup only with coffee machine and 2 lids that did not fit the cup provided, light bulb out on vanity area, and stains on duvet cover most likely from previous guests... maybe not washed after every guest. Would like to stay again in future because of location and amenities but would have to make personal adjustments to be comfortable regarding issues we had to deal with this time around.

This place was awful. First we got checked into a dirty room. Then got checked into one that smelled like a bar. Everything about the place seemed outdated. This place screams renovation. we NEVER got our room cleaned, and when we asked for more garbage bags and towels took them almost 3 hours, and let me tell you, i would understand if it was a really busy day, but it was DEAD and a week day. Got harrased by the housekeeping "supervisor" for smoking on the balcony, when the whole place smelled like a damn bar in the first place. The pool looks so nice in the pictures, but had i stayed in there more than ten seconds id have hypothermia. that pool is an ice box. and everyone was stuck crowding into the hot tub. Got locked out of our room three times because the ANCIENT lock probably from the 70s wouldnt take our key. Had to wait in the hall way with our dog barking at everyone for about an hour till the maintenence guy finally showed up.i have nothing good to say about this place, only two words. NEVER AGAIN!

Love this hotel!! We stay here every time, thought the feeling of the place had changed. Previously have been taken care of by attentive, friendly staff. Check in was a little stiff with Chandra, she had more time to talk to friends than help clients. She had to give me two sets of keys before they actually opened the door. When I returned to ask for additional coffee I was treated like they came out of her paycheck. Then it changed back to my happy hotel, Jessica you saved the stay, kind generous and thoughtful-Thank You! I'll be back, so happy my favorite hotel is still Nativo-Albuquerque!!
