Hola mi gente, please join us for this week’s free screening, with Carlos' Armella's “En La Estancia,” Thursday, July 16th at 7pm. story records the brief but close relationship that develops between the last two inhabitants of the isolated, abandoned town of La Estancia, Don Jesús Vallejo and his son Juan Diego, and the filmmaker who comes to document their lives. The documentarian soon goes back to the city, promising to return, but many years pass before that promise is fulfilled, and the only things left in La Estancia are the echoes of its voices. This is a free ticketed event with tickets available one hour before show. www.nhccnm.org
