Interesting article I found about faking SERPs results with rich snippets. Of course, it's a pretty obvious move and I think Google has a handle on it, but there still are things that slip through, and finding a good review is never as simple as believe what you see in Google at the first impression!

His examples of fakes and how to investigate real ratings is pretty interesting! I'm working on some different Schema markups for one of my sites right now and stumbled on this page.

I think this is one the main reasons why they removed authorship from global search results. The system was being gamed.

So I've been publishing affiliate niche research for a while now. I posted some wedding stuff, and hydroponics stuff back in the day to Fresh Coffee. Today I published some research on LED Lights. I was really surprised at how exciting some LED light niche sites sound!

Stuff like indoor farming, customizing cars/motorcycles, and energy efficient homes are all areas you could focus on and promote LEDs.

Just thought this was funny. Was searching for Blue Apron, and clearly HelloFresh and Plated are spending big bucks to sneak in there. They've got a discount promo and a free dinner as incentives!

Should Blue Apron up their game?

+Nathaniell Brenes - I love seeing this kind of stuff. Competitors paying for brand names in hope of sniping customers from them. https://plus.google.com/u/0/+Blueapron - you certainly step up your game and do the same for Hello Fresh. Oh wait.. you haven't posted in Google+ in 23 weeks.. nevermind. ;)

A days ago I published this post: http://onemorecupof-coffee.com/how-write-product-review-converts-sales. I covered 15 different ways to improve your product review writing skills. These are also ideas that you can us to go back and improve old reviews.

Kinda wish I had a better keyword to target, but I really couldn't think of a better way to phrase the title. "How To Make More Money From Your Reviews" ??? Meh, sounds like cheesy clickbait to me. Anyway, it's done. Guess I'll just have to work harder promoting the post socially rather than worry about ranking.

Definitely going to send something out to my list though!

Feel free to share it around, I think there's a lot of good ideas here. You can also share your own experiences or ideas in the comment section.

Posted this on Facebook earlier. What do you guys think?

Been seeing a couple posts lately about how "quality content" isn't enough and you need a backlink strategy to rank. Personally, I think it's easy to overestimate the value of your own content. Just because you spent a lot of time making it, doesn't mean it's good.

I personally know of a few people who are always complaining about not ranking, and to be honest, their websites are not very good. They are working hard for sure, but the quality just isn't there. They are a prime candidate to get sucked into link schemes like PBNs because it "confirms" that something was missing this whole time.

"Ah, I knew there was a trick the gurus weren't telling me."

Right on point +Nathaniell Brenes - backlinks are important and it's HOW they are acquired that is just as important.

Fresh #scam called Click Intensity: http://onemorecupof-coffee.com/click-intensity-scam/

How's it possible that in a 7 tier system you have 53 billion people on your team? Why should you buy "ad packs" that the owners open admit have no idea when they'll pay out? Should you buy into a system which encourages you to pay $100,000 in order to fully leverage the opportunity?

If the answers to these questions are not obvious already, you should read my review. If you just want to see how ridiculous the whole thing actually is, click over. Leave a comment on the post and let me know what you think!

Exciting update. So I was accepted into Amazon's new CPM program (same thing as Adsense). So far, it'd doubled my display ad earnings without cannibalizing Adsense money, and with "less optimum" positioning.

I'm still making pennies, so it's not much to brag about, but it's certainly exciting! Gonna start some FB ads going again this month.

I wonder how/why Google differentiates these two phrases? They mean slightly different things, to some people. Results are almost identical, but not quite. Just something I noticed!

LOL, saw that. Must be those secret PBNs I heard about.

I'm at the bottom of left side ;) Haven't quite made it to page 1 on right side (spot 11)

Well, sometimes #scams take a while to fulfill their destiny, and I guess DS Domination has finally hit that point. Their top affiliates are now jumping ship, and starting to promote other "opportunities", albeit from the same creators of #dsd.

My original post was from 2014. Two years later, the company is pretty much dead. I would think that if they were producing so many successful earners, this would be a thriving company gaining traction.

What do you think?

Helping You Start an Online Business
Introduction
I've spend the past 10 years traveling, and recently returned to the US to focus on my online business. I have a few different websites, but now I have turned most of my attention to One More Cup of Coffee, where I teach beginners and jaded intermediate-level internet marketers how to build sustainable, legitimate businesses on the internet.

I hope to expand to other topics like stock investing, real estate investing, and other finance related subjects. "Financial Freedom" is usually associated with retirement, but it's my personal goal to build enough passive income streams to never have to return to a 'normal' job.

This will allow me to pursue other interests like sailing, motorcycles, traveling, and craft brewing.

Leave me a message or send me an email!
