Basic Gimp tutorial for anyone that wants to learn how to create their own affiliate banners, featured images, and other simple images for their website. Near the end of the tutorial, I also show you how to create awesome images for your website completely for FREE. This tutorial is targeted at complete newbies, but you may have to watch a few times if this is your first time using Gimp. It's no MS Paint for sure! #gimp   #affiliatemarketing   #tutorial

Since we're all talking about mobile, I looked at my Bing results for One More Cup of Coffee. Looks like Bing was using my image alt tag as the meta title for one of my pages. Oops! It's fixed now.

Also, I just added this schema markup to my /head https://developers.google.com/structured-data/site-name

We'll see if it works! Looks like breadcrumbs are still not supported in mobile results, so I'm not sure how that works with a site name but no breadcrumbs. I'll post results if I see any. Might be a day or two or week or two til Google starts showing my markup.

Bourbon Barrel Project #1 has officially started! (Apr. 8 2015). 5 gallons of double red ale aging in Balcones Texas bourbon. It says "rumble" on the barrel, so I'm assuming that's what was in it. Here's the blurb from Balcones: "Crafted from fermented Texas wildflower honey, Mission figs and turbinado sugar, it is twice distilled in traditional copper pots then artfully matured in premium oak casks"

I'll write a full post once it's aged, carbed, and conditioned.

We used to own a cider mill and made hard cider in old whiskey barrels for 54 years - tough stuff like!

Truby vs Non-Truby. What are your expectations? An excellent, detailed experiment (lots of pictures) about kettle trube in fermenter. I was concerned about getting a bunch of trube in the fermenter for my Pliney clone, but now I"m not so worried about it. http://brulosophy.com/2014/06/02/the-great-trub-exbeeriment-results-are-in/
In his ubiquitous manuscript, How to Brew, John Palmer states: "It is a good idea to remove the hot break (or the break in general) from the wort before fermenting. The hot break consists of variou...

Yeah, I've got a food grade bucket bag. I straight to through my funnel (coarse) and that filters to the bag (fine). It's mostly about clarity for me. Also easier clean up after fermentation... (^_-)

Ugh. Sometimes I feel like someone's always one step ahead of me. Remember my issues with cats in the yard a months ago? Apparently, I'm not the only one lol. Just found this website: http://catrepellentguide.com/ Haha. They aren't ranking for much though, so either they didn't make much money from it or got bored.

Anyway, my site is going in a different direction..working on it now. I'll post it when it's looking alright. I'm working with a really exciting theme!

I'm working on a similar Amazon site and will probably add some ultrasonic
repellers as well.

Updated post! If you're earning from your affiliate marketing efforts, maybe it's time to diversify. What do you think? Is it better to have 5 sites earning a little bit of one site earning a lot? Maybe getting some of that money into other assets that pay is the best course of action.

Yes Alan, I would agree some great information, he could charge for the information in this post. and a lot of online so-called gurus do, for the same information that Nathaniel is  kind enough of to give it to us for free. Thank you Nathaniel and one more cup coffee :-)

Does watching someone write an article sound boring? It isn't! Well, at least I had fun. See how I research, take notes, and write my articles. I really do it this way. Almost finished it within the hour. I probably could have, but was testing Google slides in the beginning with some notes.

What do you think? Is posting "work from home opportunities" in the jobs board of Craigslist and other local classified ad websites dishonest?

Helping You Start an Online Business
Introduction
I've spend the past 10 years traveling, and recently returned to the US to focus on my online business. I have a few different websites, but now I have turned most of my attention to One More Cup of Coffee, where I teach beginners and jaded intermediate-level internet marketers how to build sustainable, legitimate businesses on the internet.

I hope to expand to other topics like stock investing, real estate investing, and other finance related subjects. "Financial Freedom" is usually associated with retirement, but it's my personal goal to build enough passive income streams to never have to return to a 'normal' job.

This will allow me to pursue other interests like sailing, motorcycles, traveling, and craft brewing.
