"effort is what counts the most, more than talent or aptitude. We aren’t limited to our innate talents; we all have enormous potential to expand our abilities if we cultivate them. You don’t have to be stuck doing what you happen to be good at; merely pay attention to what you love and proceed from there"

Before the kids dive into the presents, I like to remind them of the greatest gift of all.

I love how this Movie Theater successfully challenged the traditional business model. This goes to show how important it is to understand your market and there needs.

I had no idea there where Pike in the Green River. It was luck that I landed this guy. He actually  cut the line with his teeth after I set the hook and then launched way out of the water and onto the rock bank. http://www.sltrib.com/sltrib/news/56089381-78/fish-pike-green-river.html.csp

Made some pretty tasty pizza last night. We have an over abundance of tomatoes, lots of basil and had a big container of feta.

I cooked each pizza differently. One was on the grill. One was on a cookie sheet In the oven and another was on a pizza stone in the oven.

I cheated and used Rhodes dough for the crust. I haven't been happy with my attempts at pizza dough.

The different baking methods didn't make much of a difference although the grilled pizza didn't have that browned cheese ontop and tended to cook more on the bottom.

Corn meal helped the crust not stick.

My favorite was one with the cherry tomatoes, feta and basil pesto and left over marinated chicken. My wife preferred the margarita style pizza with fresh beefsteak tomato slices and basil.

The kids preferred the boring cheese or pepperoni.

Anyone have a favorite pizza dough recipe they could recommend?
