I've been neglectful about keeping you updated on the new series of small paintings in the works - this piece is about a significant event and a memory shared.

Was honored to share some thoughts about where I think my ideas (and many other artists') come from with WOW x WOW and Tim Maclean. Here's the first part of the series, love to hear your thoughts and hope you enjoy!

Instead of slowly parading all the versions of the skate deck painting ideas, here are the top 3 (ink / graphite / colored pencil - thinking of doing one of each honestly). The other 2 good ones I have are going to evolve into something like: snow & ice, creature-land, underwater… the more that come to mind the more I want to do a deck for all of them!

She released them all, from the smallest to most important, each and every moment she held close. So that they too could find a place to live and grow and love. (detail: Letting Go, 33 x 60 inches, acrylic on canvas, 2003)
