I am afraid. I am afraid to speak ... Because

I now live in a world where you cannot say what you feel, because if it goes against the grain of society, or the twitterati you can lose your job and everything else.

I live in a world, where if you believe in the sovereignty of your nation, or fly your national flag you are deemed a right wing nutter.

I live in a world, where if you disagree with mainstream science you are laughed at and scorned, whilst you watch your career burnt at the stake.

I live in a world where if you do not conform, you are socially assassinated, and beaten mentally until you become what the majority want.

I live in a world where corporations ruin our planet, and yet we are left to pay taxes to undo their damage.

I live in a world where bankers gamble away our pensions, savings and prosperity, and watch in disbelief as they escape jail and justice.

I live in a world where people are free to murder, rape and torture in the name of religion, but their only motive is greed and power.

I live in this world, so these are my problems and your problems.

Let's fix it, talk about it, make it better.

Share this if you want healthy debate and a better tomorrow.

+Nathan Oosthuizen I follow and agree your clarification of biased studies. I think you're right about money at the very least slowing truth. I also think it sometimes stops it, how many patents does big oil own that would make cars run more efficiently or solar panels cheaper? In the information age this is a tragedy that we allow to keep happening.
