This is a cautionary message to all G+ friends: just because 16-year-olds have their license, it doesn't mean they can drive.

No injuries. Kid was trying to turn left out of a gas station and pulled out right in front of me.

#ifihadglass I would capture my world. I would bring the trails, rivers, and fields of southern Missouri to the rest of the world through recorded hangouts and photos.

This patent war is getting ridiculous. You know a company is scared when they spend more time and effort in suing the competition than innovating their own products. #boycottapple

The Grotto is definitely not your typical lunch spot. I came here for dinner with friends and ordered the chicken pasta. Ingredients tasted very fresh. Lots of attention paid to the dish to make it look good too. Atmosphere is very modern with plenty of seating and lots of room. Prices are on par with most decent lunch. I'll definitely come here again.

I've come to this Dairy Queen a handful of times in the past year or so. I think this time will be my last. Every time I come here I just get disappointed. I like Dairy Queen's food, but this particular store doesn't seem to value quality like other stores. My burger buns are usually dry like they've been setting out all day. The burgers taste old. The fries are usually cold. I've had a few mushy tomatoes. I'm usually waiting forever for my food; dine-in and drive thru. I'm not upset, I'm just disappointed. I really like having a DQ close to home, but I think I'm done coming here for awhile.

Went here a couple times for lunch. The food is unique, but good. Many ingredients used in the food is from the orchard or a sister farm, so everything is fresh. Limited ingredients are used in dishes, so my peach pie was a little more tart (less sugar added) than I was used to, but still good. Prices were steep for smaller portions, but understandable since nothing is "mass-produced" like at a chain restaurant. They also let visitors pick fruit from the orchard (apples, peaches, berries, etc) and have a shop where you can by jams and such. Definitely worth a try if you are looking for something different.

Greatest selection of subs you'll find in Springfield. I really enjoy the way you order your food here; you grab a paper bag that corresponds the meat you would like on your sub and then use a marker to fill in what you would like added on top. They don't skimp on the ingredients either. Little more expensive than the chain sub shops, but definitely fresher ingredients. Worth a shot for anyone looking for lunch.

Favorite theater in Springfield. All theaters (except IMAX) have huge, extremely comfortable recliners for every seat. They keep the place pretty clean. Movie prices are on par with other theaters.

Great chicken! Not greasy or overly breaded. Sides are kind of a let-down for me. I really only like their coleslaw. But I could eat their biscuits all day. Very busy during the lunch hour, but calms down for dinner. One of my go-to places when there's no time to cook.

Nice place to eat on the harbor. The food was good, but nothing special. Staff was friendly and welcoming. A great place for lunch after a sailing excursion.
