These events gather the Asian startup community under one roof and connect regional and global players for mutual benefit. I have lead overseas business expansion missions with startups to Singapore, the USA, Israel, China and Europe. I regularly coach startups on overseas expansion, marketing & PR. I have made several introductions that have resulted in startups getting funded by Angel investors and Venture Capitalists. I have spoken at several entrepreneurship conferences in Korea, China, Russia and the US and I am a contributor to Forbes, VentureBeat, TechInAsia, PocketGamer and several other global publications about tech and startups.

Employment
  • beSUCCESS
    Director, 2012 - present
As Global Director of beSUCCESS I focus on assisting Korean / Asian startups expand beyond their domestic borders, primarily through media, events and global networking. I have led initiatives around the APAC region, North America, Israel and Europe, and organized large startup events in Seoul and Silicon Valley. The results of my efforts (in close partnership with startups and my global network) can be seen in the increased global presence of Korean entrepreneurship, investments raised, partnership agreements signed and overseas local offices established. When I'm not coaching startups or helping them connect the dots globally, you can find me writing or tweeting about them and sharing their stories with the world on betech.asia. I have been featured discussing Asian entrepreneurship in the Wall Street Journal, The Economist, The BBC, VentureBeat, and TechInAsia and I have spoken about the same topic at a number of global startup-focused conferences in Korea, China, Russia, Singapore and the US.
