Feels quite hawkish at the start but is an interestingly pragmatic position on the unfortunately world we live in.
Most of us view perpetual war as deeply inimical to human rights, democracy, and the rule of law. We’re not wrong: Since the 9/11 attacks,…

I've put a proposal together to speak at SXSW next year.  30% of the criteria for getting accepted is the public vote and I really need yours.

To make things easier I've included a link to the registration page:
https://auth.sxsw.com/users/sign_up

And  here's a link to the page that needs your votes - just hit the thumbs up in the top left corner:
http://panelpicker.sxsw.com/vote/38145

I know it's slightly painful process but I'll be forever grateful for anyone who votes for my talk, just do it quickly before voting stops on Sunday at midnight.

Thanks!

A little magic part of my childhood was reawaken by this...

Secret underground vault contains all Lego sets in history
http://sploid.gizmodo.com/this-underground-secret-vault-contains-all-lego-sets-in-1584117114/+caseychan
I watched The Lego Movie once again. Like the first time, I cried like a little kid. It's a good movie, but the strong emotional reaction came from deep inside, firing the same childhood memories that The Lego Memory Lane—Leg0 HQ's underground secret vault with all their sets—did when I visited it in Billund, Denmark.

I'd love to see what you guys think of the sonos playbar / surround sound solutions.  Especially looking at the difference between using the 1s or 3s.

New to the community (and Wear) but I thought I'd jump right in with a question.  What's everyone's favourite camera remote?  I'm liking Wear Camera Remote https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.dheera.wearcamera but I know there are a few others.

Last year, scientists created the world's first lab-grown burger — and by all accounts it didn't taste half bad. Sadly, the cost of a single patty ran upwards of $385,000. Now, European researchers have developed a small-scale manufacturing technique for synthetic meat that could eventually prove revolutionary.

I really like the idea of Sideways marking - although I'm not a big fan of the name.  Maybe lateral?  Anyway, finding an emotional centre for a brand is hardly a new idea, but it's certainly worth repeating the message.

Lateral sounds better, in my opinion. Sideways almost sounds like it's moving backwards a little bit.
